Today…
My parents are great but ordering food with them in a restaurant is not so great. Well my dad is easy going (cept when he doesn’t like his food and makes it a point to show everyone working there he doesn’t like it) but my mom on the other hand has no decision making abilities at all! Anyway – no big deal. I just got home from taking them out for dinner at the Manhattan Fish Market in Center Point. Apparently it’s last day for that branch and they are closing down tomorrow. Food was alright and I can’t remember if I finished my mocha drink. I’m waiting for the ED to kick in – it never fails when I eat there. That’s either a good thing or a bad thing – I don’t know. Right now my tummy is just rumbling.
Reflection…
These days, at the (still) ripe age of 29 (almost), I prefer stay-at-home weekends over partying. Last week I went to see a DJ set with Mira and Reuben of LADYTRON. I just felt so out of place and ‘old’ – not hip and about to bust A hip as well. I may think I’m ‘mature’ for having outgrown the whole club scene in my early 20s but I secretly envy those who can stamina such things – even at my age. I guess once in a blue moon I like to and CAN party like a rock star but for now I will stay at home, hang out with my cats and occasionally meet up with friends for dinner, drinks, movie and/or karaoke…Plus I’m saving all my ‘parnenrgy’ for October. London – Baltimore – London. My initiation into the last year of my 20s…
Right now…
I’m going to watch Lost Season 5 episode 7 soon. How awesome is this season? It seriously gives me blue balls of the television kind! I don’t know what to do with myself when I watch an episode and have to wait for another week for the next one.

1. Wow- I guess Centrepoint wasn’t a very good location for them… geez, I didn’t even know they were there! hah
2. You know, the last time i was at John’s gig in Boracay was April last year! I am worse off than you and I can’t imagine the feeling should it arise anytime soon….I would definitely feel extremely self conscious.
3. The last episode I accidentally caught on 8tv, was when they were already off the island and Kate was in court for whatever misdemeanours. I don’t follow it at all, but even the random times that I watch it, I eventually google that season just to understand it….

1. It is very visually seen @ Centrepoint! But McDonalds is right next door I guess the amount they spent fixing the place up, rent etc..etc.. really took a toll on them. It’s always a gamble when you start off big.
2. When you move back here, we’ll have to make it a point to do “young things” at least once a month!
3. 8tv is show season 4. I’m on season 5 and a I d/l each episode a couple hours after its air date in America! And stupid Astro stopped airing Lost after season 2 or 3. LAME!
