Anyway, there is one competition I don’t mind entering cause I get to do some research work and not just sit there hoping they will pick my ‘number’. It’s the “AirAsia & Visit Britain present the Great British Tour“. Basically you have to choose 1 of 3 itinerarys and guesstimate how much they spend on their 5D visit to Britain on a “shoestring budge”. If you get the amount ’spot-on’ you may win yourself a 5D/4N trip there. I’m confused however because according to the Terms & Conditions, the “prize” is a 5D/4N Go Holiday package for two people to Holiday Villa London + return AirAsia X Flight tickets to London deparing from Kuala Lumpur, but there is a disclaimer right underneath that says “PLEASE NOTE that airport transfers to and from LCC Terminal, Kuala Lumpur International Airport and between Stansted Airport, London and the assigned hotel is not included in the prize“…. HUH WHAT?

Do they perhaps mean the “assigned hotel” is not part of the prize as in the winner(s) are not allowed to take it home or claim ownership over it? Anyway, I’m not too concerned about the lodging because I don’t mind roughing it out in a hostel. I just need to get there for the Blur reunion concert at Hyde Park July 3rd. It’d be a shame to put the tix to waste!
